Our studio is a shared space. These guidelines help create a safe, focused, and welcoming environment for everyone. Thank you for being part of the care and respect that makes this community special.
Classes begin exactly on time. To protect personal belongings and ensure safety, studio doors are locked once class begins. We respect everyone’s time and effort in attending class, so please arrive early to avoid being locked out.
For a more relaxed start, we encourage arriving 5–10 minutes early to check in, settle your belongings, and prepare for practice.
We ask that the practice room remain quiet during class. Many students are deeply focused on listening and learning, and even brief conversations can be distracting. Holding silence supports everyone’s experience and helps maintain the energy of the room.
Please stop by the front desk to check in with your instructor before entering the change rooms or practice space. This helps classes run smoothly. Class spots are limited, and failure to check in may result in a no-show or late fee.
To keep the space clear, safe, and focused, only a mat, towel, and water are permitted in the practice room. All other personal belongings should be left outside.
Our floors are mopped between every class to maintain a clean, barefoot environment. Please leave all outdoor shoes at the entrance and help us care for the space together.
We maintain a phone-free practice room so everyone can fully disconnect and be present.
In rare situations where a phone must be nearby due to an emergency or on-call responsibility, please keep it on silent, tucked away, and out of sight. This helps preserve the calm, focused energy of the room and supports both your instructor and fellow students.
Please avoid wearing strong perfumes, colognes, or scented sprays. Heated rooms intensify scents, and keeping them light helps ensure comfort for all.
We encourage students to remain in the room for the full class, including final rest or savasana. If you need a break, resting quietly on your mat helps maintain the flow of the class while allowing you to listen to your body. Staying present supports your practice and the shared experience.
Please let your instructor know before class if you are working with an injury or have any movement considerations. This allows us to support you in the best way possible.
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Choosing attire that supports your practice and respects the shared space helps everyone feel at ease.
Your safety, and the safety of those around you, is very important to us.
When bringing weights into the room, please carry one weight per hand and avoid stacking them. Limit yourself to two pairs of weights, making multiple trips if needed. Thoughtful weight selection and controlled movement help prevent injury.
The only competition in the room is with yourself. Choose weights that feel appropriate for you and ask your instructor for guidance if needed.
Out of consideration for others, please keep showers to 2 minutes. Washing clothing, mats, or towels in the studio is not permitted.
If you’re not feeling well, please rest at home and return when you’re feeling better. Virtual classes are available so you can continue your practice from home.
